Oracle ERP consulting, AI inside the ERP and Oracle EBS exit

ExiosV is a consulting and delivery practice for corporate finance systems. We design, implement, extend and operate enterprise ERP on Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Oracle ERP Cloud (Fusion), and we build the APEX applications, SaaS and PaaS add-ons that close the gaps standard ERP leaves open. We also bring AI agents into the ERP itself, and we move companies off Oracle E-Business Suite onto a modern stack they own — without the Oracle licence bill.

What we do

Consulting, implementation and support for corporate ERP in finance. We cover the whole lifecycle — from a roadmap and a business case, through configuration, development and data migration, to the service desk that runs it afterwards. We also bring AI agents into the ERP itself, and we move companies off Oracle E-Business Suite onto a stack they own.

ERP consulting and roadmap

We start by understanding how finance actually runs today, then propose a target system and a sequence of steps to get there — with costs, risks and quick wins spelled out.

  • Assessment of the current business model, level of automation and digital maturity
  • Deep dive into the problem areas of the existing information landscape
  • Target architecture and IT transformation roadmap, phased and costed
  • Solution selection and comparison of the options available on the market
  • Business process engineering and re-engineering, not just tooling
  • Investment portfolio planning for the IT programme

Oracle E-Business Suite R12

Implementation, extension and upgrade of EBS R12 financials, procurement and supply chain — including the localisation work that off-the-shelf EBS never covers.

  • Financials: General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Assets, Cash Management, Treasury
  • Procurement, iProcurement, Inventory and Order Management
  • Fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuration and extensions
  • Version upgrades and platform migrations with no break in the financial close
  • Localisation of Financials, Logistics and Human Capital Management
  • Reporting and analytics on top of the EBS data model

Oracle ERP Cloud (Fusion)

End-to-end cloud ERP delivery: from module selection and configuration through data migration and go-live, working alongside your team or a global integrator.

  • Financials, Procurement and Project Portfolio Management in the cloud
  • Enterprise performance management and corporate reporting
  • Cloud adoption strategy and a phased transition away from legacy systems
  • Configuration, data migration and integration with surrounding systems
  • Extending the standard cloud modules instead of forcing business change

AI inside the ERP

AI agents that work in the ERP next to your finance and support teams: they read documents, prepare reconciliations, watch controls and answer questions on the data. A person approves what they propose.

  • Invoice intake, data extraction and 2- and 3-way matching; people see only the exceptions
  • Nightly reconciliations and an agent that tracks the close checklist
  • Continuous monitoring of journals, payments and master data changes
  • Questions on ERP data in plain language, with the source rows attached
  • A first-line service desk agent over the knowledge base and past incidents
  • Local models on your own hardware when the data must not leave the perimeter

Oracle EBS exit to your own stack

A full rewrite of the business logic and of every component of Oracle E-Business Suite on a modern, faster stack that you own: for import-substitution programmes and for companies that no longer want to pay for Oracle licences and support.

  • Inventory of setups, customisations, PL/SQL, Forms, reports and interfaces
  • Clean-room re-specification of the business rules from your configuration and data
  • Module-by-module build on PostgreSQL, modern services and a web front end
  • Data migration with reconciliation of balances and open items
  • Parallel run until the numbers match, then cut-over at a period end
  • No Oracle support fees and no licence audits once the old instance is retired

Finance processes and reporting

Automation of the finance function itself: closing cycles, statutory and management reporting, treasury, and the controls that keep auditors satisfied.

  • Closing and consolidation across legal entities
  • Statutory and IFRS-style reporting, plus management P&L by business line
  • Tax and regulatory reporting, including regulatory data management
  • Treasury, cash-flow forecasting and bank integration
  • Machine-learning and robotic process automation where they pay off

Extensions, APEX applications and SaaS/PaaS products

When standard ERP does not fit the way your business works, we build the missing piece — as a product, not as an unmaintainable one-off patch.

  • Oracle APEX applications and portals alongside the ERP core
  • SaaS and PaaS extensions and add-ons for ERP, taken to production and supported
  • Functional design and development of custom financial modules
  • Reusable accelerators and own products that shorten ERP rollout time

Integration, data migration and audit

ERP rarely lives alone. We connect it to the systems around it and make sure the data behind the numbers can be trusted.

  • Audit of existing corporate systems, infrastructure and security
  • Systems survey, risk and single-point-of-failure review
  • Integration solutions and a single information space across the enterprise
  • Migration of applications and data with an agreed cut-over strategy
  • Interface design for banking, logistics, procurement and HR systems
  • Independent review of running IT projects and of the data they produce

Support and managed services

A service desk that knows the system it supports: functional and technical support for Oracle ERP, with response times and knowledge that survive staff changes.

  • Functional and technical support for Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle databases
  • Support for the extensions and localisation components we built
  • Priority desk coverage outside working hours for high-impact incidents

Turnkey delivery and pre-sales

We take a project from an idea in a sales meeting to a running system with an owner who is accountable for scope, budget and outcome.

  • Pre-sales support: proposals, estimates, solution demos and sales materials
  • Scope, budget, schedule and team ownership, with P&L accountability
  • Project management office practices and progress indicators
  • Pilot operation, acceptance testing and production cut-over
  • Stakeholder management across business, finance and IT

AI inside the ERP

Agents that work in the ERP next to your finance and support teams. They take the reading, matching, checking and chasing; your people approve, decide and handle the exceptions.

Invoice intake and matching

Agents read supplier invoices from e-mail and scans, extract the data, run the 2- and 3-way match against purchase orders and receipts, and send only the exceptions to an accountant.

  • Payables
  • Document AI
  • Procurement

Reconciliations and the close

Bank, intercompany and subledger-to-ledger reconciliations are prepared every night. An agent tracks the close checklist, reminds the owners and explains what is still open.

  • General Ledger
  • Cash Management
  • Close

Control monitoring

Continuous checks on journals, payments and master data: duplicates, unusual amounts, segregation-of-duties conflicts, a changed bank account just before a payment run.

  • Controls
  • Audit
  • Fraud prevention

Questions in plain language

Finance and management ask a question in their own words and get an answer built from ERP data, with the query and the source rows attached so that anyone can check it.

  • Reporting
  • Text to SQL
  • Analytics

Discovery and documentation

During discovery, agents consolidate workshop notes, interview transcripts and consultants' documents every day, keep the requirements register current and report progress to the project manager. We use this on live ERP programmes.

How we keep it safe

The data stays inside

When the data must not leave the perimeter, the models run on your hardware or in your private cloud. Personal data is masked before any call to an external model.

Agents propose, people approve

Postings, payments and master data changes go through the same approval workflow as the work of your staff.

Every action is logged

What the agent read, what it proposed and who approved it are kept in an audit trail.

Payback is measured

Each use case starts with a baseline of hours, errors and cycle time. We keep it only if it pays back.

Oracle E-Business Suite exit: your own ERP on a modern stack

For companies that must replace foreign enterprise software under import-substitution programmes, and for those that no longer want to pay Oracle licences and support for a system they have customised for fifteen years. We rewrite the business logic and every component from scratch on a modern, faster stack that you own, with AI agents doing much of the analysis, coding and testing.

Licences and support

No annual Oracle support fees, no new licence purchases and no licence audits once the old instance is retired. The new system runs on open-source components.

Import substitution and control

Import-substitution requirements, sanctions risk and data-residency rules: the system, the code and the hosting are under your control.

Speed and a modern interface

Web screens instead of Forms, APIs instead of nightly batch interfaces, reports on demand instead of a queue of concurrent requests.

Your own roadmap

No forced upgrades and patch sets on a vendor's schedule. You change the system when the business needs it.

What replaces what

In Oracle EBS In your new system
Oracle Database (EBS schemas) PostgreSQL with a clean, documented data model
PL/SQL packages and concurrent programs Services in a modern language, a job scheduler and queues
Oracle Forms and OA Framework pages A web front end, role-based and usable on mobile
Oracle Workflow and AME approvals A workflow engine with configurable approval rules
BI Publisher reports and FSG A report service and BI on an analytical store
Open interfaces and SOA REST and event APIs on a message bus
Flexfields, value sets and lookups Configurable reference data with full history
Responsibilities and menus Role-based access with SSO and segregation-of-duties rules

How the exit runs

  1. 01

    Inventory

Agents scan the instance: setups, customisations, PL/SQL, Forms, reports, interfaces, data volumes and who uses what. The result is a full map, including the part that can simply be dropped.

  2. 02

    Re-specify

The business rules are written down again as specifications and test cases, from your configuration, data and processes. It is a clean-room approach: no vendor code is copied.

  3. 03

    Build

Module by module on the new stack. Agents generate code and tests; engineers review every change before it is merged.

  4. 04

    Migrate and run in parallel

Data migration with reconciliation of balances and open items. Both systems run in parallel until the numbers match, period after period.

  5. 05

    Switch and retire

Cut-over at a period end. Then Oracle support is ended and the old instance is archived read-only for the auditors.

We are an Oracle E-Business Suite practice. We know where the business logic of EBS really lives — in setups, flexfields, approval rules and years of customisations — and that is exactly what a rewrite must not lose.

Platforms and technologies

We stay close to the Oracle stack and integrate other ready-made services where they add value — rather than building something bespoke that only we can maintain.

Oracle ERP platforms

The core systems we implement, extend and support.

  • Oracle E-Business Suite R12 — Financials, Procurement, Inventory, Order Management
  • Oracle ERP Cloud / Fusion Applications — Financials, Procurement, PPM
  • Oracle EPM and corporate performance management
  • Oracle Human Capital Management: HR, Payroll, Time & Labour
  • Oracle Database and the EBS technology stack
  • Oracle Integration Cloud and classic SOA middleware

Application development

Where standard functionality stops, we build.

  • Oracle APEX for data-centric applications and approval workflows
  • SaaS and PaaS extensions for cloud ERP
  • Custom financial modules and reporting logic
  • Web and mobile front ends for ERP transactions
  • Automation and robotic process automation
  • Own accelerators and products for ERP rollout and localisation

Data, integration and analytics

Making the numbers trustworthy and connected.

  • Data migration and cut-over tooling
  • Integrations, interfaces and a single information space
  • Business intelligence and management reporting
  • Reconciliation and control frameworks
  • Master data and reference data alignment
  • Audit and quality checks on ERP data

Ready-made SaaS and PaaS

Third-party and cloud services we integrate rather than reinvent.

  • Regulatory and tax data management services
  • Cloud services for statutory and management reporting
  • Document management and workflow services
  • Collaboration and integration platforms
  • Infrastructure and platform services for ERP workloads
  • Selected solutions evaluated against your requirements before any recommendation

How we deliver

An ERP programme is judged on the year after go-live, not on the demo. Our delivery model is built around that: understand the business first, keep the scope honest, and stay for support.

  1. 01

    Assess

We look at the current business model, processes, systems, data and infrastructure, and report back on what is working, what is fragile and what it costs you.

  2. 02

    Design

Target architecture, module scope, integration landscape and a phased roadmap with effort, cost and risk attached to each phase.

  3. 03

    Build

Configuration, functional design and custom development — including the extensions and APEX applications that standard ERP does not provide.

  4. 04

    Migrate

Data migration, interface build, regression testing and a cut-over plan that keeps the financial close and the audit trail intact.

  5. 05

    Go live

Pilot operation, acceptance testing and production start-up, with key-user training so the business can run the system from day one.

  6. 06

    Run and evolve

Service desk, patch and upgrade planning, and a continuous improvement backlog that keeps the system aligned with the business.

Why work with us

A small senior team with a finance-first bias, the certifications to match, and products we built ourselves rather than borrowed.

Finance people first, technology second

The systems we build exist to close books faster, control cash and report accurately. Every design decision is judged against that, not against what is fashionable.

Certified, long-standing Oracle experience

Consultants who have spent their careers on Oracle financials — E-Business Suite and ERP Cloud — across implementation, development, localisation and support.

We extend rather than force

Where the standard product does not fit, we build an extension, an APEX application or a small product. We do not bend your finance process to fit a generic template.

Own products and accelerators

Reusable components, localisation solutions and pre-built extensions cut configuration time and reduce the cost of adapting to new regulatory requirements.

Accountability for the outcome

We own scope, budget, schedule and team, and we are measured on the result. Pre-sales estimates are made by the people who will deliver the project.

Support that outlives the project

A maintained knowledge base, a real service desk and optional out-of-hours coverage for high-priority incidents — so the system keeps working after go-live.

Where we have worked

Sectors where the finance function is complex, the audit is strict and the ERP cannot be allowed to stop working. Client names on request.

Energy and utilities

Regulated reporting, treasury and settlement processes in asset-heavy businesses.

Telecom

Large transaction volumes, complex revenue and procurement structures, group reporting.

Industrial manufacturing

Costing, inventory and financial and tax modules for multi-plant operations.

Retail and distribution

Long-lived ERP platforms that need to evolve without interrupting daily trade.

Mining and chemicals

Project, asset and procurement cycles with long horizons and strict controls.

Groups and holdings

Consolidation, statutory and management reporting across multiple legal entities.
